These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ninova mobile application ("App") operated by Barbarda ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the App

Ninova provides AI-powered educational assistance. The App is designed to help you understand and learn — it is not intended to replace professional academic instruction.

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App to cheat on exams or assignments in violation of your institution's academic integrity policies.
  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the App's functionality.
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the App or its content.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Ninova offers free access with daily question limits and premium subscriptions (Weekly, Monthly, Annual) for unlimited access.
  • Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your device's App Store or Play Store settings.
  • Refunds are subject to the policies of the App Store or Play Store through which you purchased the subscription.

4. AI-Generated Content

The answers and explanations provided by Ninova are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy:

  • AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies.
  • Responses should be used as a learning aid, not as a sole source of truth.
  • We do not guarantee the correctness of any AI-generated response.
  • You should verify critical information with authoritative sources.

5. Intellectual Property

  • The App, including its design, code, content, and AI models, is owned by Barbarda and protected by intellectual property laws.
  • You retain ownership of any content you upload (photos, questions).
  • By uploading content, you grant us a license to process it through our AI system to provide you with answers.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. See our Account Deletion page for details.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
